Motomuck Original Cleaner is a product the Motorsport and enthusiast market has been crying out for.
Motomuck Original Cleaner is a non-caustic, acid free cleaner that won’t start fading your trusty steed’s aluminium, alloy or plastics over a period of time. It will however cut through all that new or old grime, and bring out the original lustre that hides beneath that dirt.
The best thing about this cleaner is that it will leave a protective film which will help prevent dirt sticking, and enhance the surface finish.
No need for brushes to get in to those tight fiddly bits around the motor or elsewhere, just spray on a layer of Motomuck Original Cleaner, leave on for 5-10 minutes, and then spray off.

Application
Motomuck Motorycle Cleaner takes a few applications to create it's protective layer on the base material, as it first needs to get rid of all the old grime and old care products that might be on the surface. So for the first couple applications use product undiluted and give it a helping hand to get through the old grime. Once the protective coat has developed it will change the way you clean forever!
Step one
- Spray on over entire bike, over wet or dry dirt. If you hosed off excessive dirt, leave a few minutes to drip dry before applying as water can form a dilution barrier on the surface.
- Use a brush only on excessively stubborn old dirt and on places where dirt has baked onto the exhaust.
Step two
- Leave to soak in for 5-10 minutes, allowing Motomuck Original Cleaner to penetrate through the dirt to the surface of your steed.
Step three
- Spray off with a jet of water and watch the muck fall off.
Uses
Motomuck Original Cleaner can be used safely on:
- dirt bikes, quads, street bikes, bicycles, offroad vehicles, engines, brakes, machinery, and riding gear.
- aluminium, anodised surfaces, seals, plastics, rubber, glass, carbon fibre, machinery, tools
Caution
- If washing a street bike or any other vehicle, don’t use Original Cleaner on any polycarbonate screens or parts, especially if it has been standing in the sunlight or has heated up. It can have a reaction with some coatings that are on some polycarbonates as they become porous and Motomuck thinks it's foreign dirt, which it tries to remove.
- Don’t apply on hot surface. Streaking can occur if Original Cleaner tries to remove certain existing care products. Some new Nano coatings used in the automotive industry don’t allow washing with anything other than water alone. Test product on hidden spot to ensure compatibility, prior to application.
Dilution
- Undiluted. In this ratio it cleans and deposits the protective layer on the virgin surface once all muck is removed.
- Dilute 50:50 with water for regular cleaning. You will notice after about 5 washes, that tiny bits of dirt in heavily soiled areas will still be evident after a wash, and that the surface finish will be less shiny. Just use once as undiluted to reapply the protective coating and regain full shine.
- Dilute 20:80 with water for scrooge cleaning or body panels and guards. Spray on diluted solution. Sponge all surfaces. Spray off with pressure cleaner or jet of water.
FAQ's
Q: My motorcycle is not 100% clean when using the Foam Gun with the Motomuck Cleaner?
Answer: The Motomuck Foam Gun hugely dilutes the Motomuck Cleaner, and the dirt might require a higher concentration of product to initially get the surface clean. Use the Foam Gun after that for maintaining that clean surface.
Q: Why has my motorcycle windscreen gone hazy after washing it?
A: Please see cautions on the bottle label as well as our website. Some polycarbonate and plexiglass products contain a protective coating to slow the process of them ageing. ( Eg: car headlights.. ) What happens is when some of these protective coatings warm up ( hot weather or in the sun ) they become porous. When Motomuck or a surfactant is applied, it thinks the porous coating is dirt, so tries to get under it to remove it. The liquid cooling effect then traps the microscopic surfactant particles under the protective coating causing the haziness.
Q:After final rinse step 3, shall I leave bike to dry naturally or can I wipe it with towel to dry.
A: Motomuck cleaner can be left naturally to dry, as it does not streak or cause water spots.
Q: How will this product go on a matt black motorcycle that does not have a clear coat on it ?
A: Matt paints are always difficult as it depends on the process for creating the matt when applied. We have found that most factory paint jobs are fine but we would recommend washing a hidden part first to make sure. To be on safe side you could also dilute the Motomuck with 70% water. Most of the problems on Matt paint have come from aftermarket paint jobs, as per our experience.
Q: When I do a touchless wash on my road motorcycle with Motomuck Motorcycle Cleaner, it does not come completely clean?
Answer: Fresh dirt and mud will clean off completely, but old road grime is electro statically charged to the body and needs some agitation to break that charged bond. Once you have done a couple washes the protective layer Motomuck Motorcycle Cleaner leaves will help with this issue.
Q: Can I dilute the Motorcycle Cleaner?
Answer: Yes you can, please see our dilution tab for further information.
Q: Is the Motorcycle Cleaner safe to use on the new shiny aluminium parts I have on my engine?
Answer: The Motorcycle Cleaner is Ph neutral, and will keep your new bits shiny for a long time with its protective layer. Excellent at degreasing and removing all grime from your engine bay as well as from the aluminium and alloy bits.
Q: Is Motomuck Motorcycle Cleaner safe to use on rubber hoses and seals?
Answer: Yes it will not break down the rubber, but rather bring back the original rubber look after a couple washes. It will also help keep the rubber soft and supple.
Q: I want to use Motomuck on my boat and I care about the marine environment. Is it biodegradable and non-toxic?
Answer: Statement from the product MSDS document is: "Product not expected to be toxic to the environment based on the calculation of ingredients" However it does have a surfactant in it, and you know what it's like when you get soap into your eyes, so not great for the fish if you washing directly into the water. Fine if you washing off onto lawn/grass etc.
